The 'Rithm' is luxurious in both form and function. Conceived and produced in Denmark, its sweeping curves of walnut serve to make an elegant statement in aesthetics as well as to create an ideal internal acoustic structure for the loudspeaker.
The signature 'arcing bow' was inspired by a combination of acoustic properties and a keen appreciation for masters of design such as Oscar Niemeyer, Arne Jacobsen and Jørn Utzon.
The end result is an attractive piece of designer furniture that also happens to be technically accomplished.
Specification
The 'Rithm' uses a 1" dome tweeter placed in the centre of a 7" woofer, effectively creating a point source. This arrangement delivers a more precise sound stage than individual drive units. In addition, the unusual exterior of the Rithm, creates an optimal volume for the design.
A state of the art anechoic room was used for detailed loudspeaker measurement and testing. The resulting matched crossover unit developed specifically for the Rithm, ensures a perfectly balanced and smooth sound.
For those of you concerned with all things green, you'll be happy to know that the product uses only wood harvested from sustainable forests.
The overall dimensions of each piece are 699mm high x 579mm deep by 214mm wide. The price is for a matched stereo pair.
