Italian Masterpiece

Selected as one of the top 24 designed homes in Britain. This well known Italian husband and wife design team had created a home cinema room in the new top floor of their house and we were entrusted to provide an installation that not only delivered superb hi-fi and surround sound movies, but also complimented the beautiful interior design for the new room. The picture on the top left is the marble stairway leading to the room.

The Projector was hidden in a false platform in the ceiling and the image was projected onto our custom designed "Il Flota" hanging acrylic screen covered with a special high contrast surface.

We adopted a no-compromise approach for the hi-fi system - given the space constraints - we used the amazing miniature, transparent Ferguson Hill FH007 speakers and the white Morel SoundSub 9 subwoofer.

As well as SkyHD and DVD, the system features a shoebox sized PC and large hard disc allowing Movies, Music as well as the Internet and e-mail to be viewed on the 80 inch diagonal screen.

The lighting is also controlled by a single remote - the supplier chosen - no guesses here - the top marque - Lutron.
