London Flat with Grade II Listed Ballroom! Design Goals: a key goal was simplicity of operation, because this is one of the client's many properties and he didn't want to have to work out how to use the remote control every time he came back to the flat! Solution: High quality, but elegant floor standing speakers in the bedroom, combined with a gloss black miniature "Media Centre" PC (to match the Pioneer Plasma). Simple control of his digitised DVD movie and music collection, as well as Internet and e-mail access via the computer using a wireless keyboard/mouse combo.
Loewe 40 inch TV in a gloss cream finish with chrome end caps combined with transparent speakers in the Lounge with access to the centralised electronic CD Jukebox.
Small satellite on-wall speakers in each corner of the ballroom with a high power hidden in-wall subwoofer to compensate for the small satellite speakers.
32 inch LCD TV on la uxury pull-out aluminium arm in the Gym, with access again to the centralised electronic CD Jukebox.
Multi-room Audio and Sky throughout the flat.
